Bärbel Reichelt

Bärbel Reichelt is a locum pastor and will be serving at St Marien for the next few months.

She was born in Lübeck in 1969 and studied theology in Hamburg, Göttingen, Heidelberg and Kiel. Following a pre-vicariate in Jerusalem, she became a journalist and worked in corporate press offices for over 15 years.

For six years, she headed the German Seamen’s Mission in Lübeck. She completed her vicariate in the parish of St Jürgen in Lübeck. Most recently, she was a pastor at St Jakobi in Lübeck.
