The use of the contact details in our legal notice for commercial advertising is expressly prohibited unless we have given our prior written consent or a business relationship already exists. The provider and all persons named on this website hereby object to any commercial use and disclosure of your data.

Scope:
This privacy policy provides users with information about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.
The legal framework for data protection is provided by the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Digital Services Act (DDG). The legal basis is the Data Protection Act of the EKD (DSG-EKD).
Data minimisation:
In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or required by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the collected information no longer applies or the storage period ends, we block or delete the data.
Collection of general information:
Every time you access our homepage, information is automatically collected by us or our web space provider. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.
The information collected includes: name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our website), IP address and the requesting provider.
This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. This data is not merged with other data sources. However, we reserve the right to check the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. It helps us to optimise our website and technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if there is suspicion of illegal use of our website.
Personal data:
You can visit our website without providing any personal data. Where personal data (such as your name, address or email address) is collected on our website, this is done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with future effect. Personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to its storage. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. If a contractual relationship between you and us is to be established, developed or amended, or if you send us an enquiry, we will collect and use your personal data to the extent necessary for these purposes (inventory data). We collect, process and use personal data to the extent necessary to enable you to use the website (usage data). All personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the stated purpose (processing your enquiry or executing a contract). Tax and commercial law retention periods are taken into account here. Upon request by the competent authorities, we may provide information about this data (inventory data) in individual cases, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes of criminal prosecution, averting danger, fulfilling the statutory tasks of the constitutional protection authorities or the military counter-intelligence service, or enforcing intellectual property rights.
Contact form:
Data submitted via the contact form, including your contact details, will be stored so that we can process your enquiry or be available for follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (§ 3 DSG-EKD). You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal notification by e-mail is sufficient for revocation. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage, or there is no longer any need for data storage. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Newsletter:
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website of a church parish (Cathedral, St. Aegidien, St. Jakobi, St. Marien or the Inner City Church Parish Association (www.innenstadtkirchen-luebeck.de) or Lübecker Kirchenmusik (luebeck-kirchenmusik.de), we require your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter.
To ensure that newsletters are sent with consent, we use the double opt-in procedure. As part of this process, the potential recipient is added to a distribution list. The user then receives a confirmation email giving them the opportunity to confirm their registration in a legally compliant manner. Only once confirmation has been received is the address actively added to the distribution list. By doing so, you agree to receive information about upcoming activities and other news, free and paid activities, and donation projects exclusively from the church community whose website you used to request the newsletter, or from all four Lübeck city centre church communities via the newsletter at www.innenstadtkirchen-luebeck.de. This consent applies to the email address provided.
We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and offers.
The data will not be passed on to unauthorised third parties.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data, your email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. An informal email notification is sufficient for revocation. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Integration of third-party services and content
Our website sometimes includes content and services from other providers. These include, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube, and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be accessed and displayed in the user's browser, it is essential that the IP address is transmitted. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") therefore perceive the IP address of the respective user.
Even though we endeavour to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among other things. If we are aware that the IP address is being stored, we will inform our users accordingly.
