A church community lives through the voluntary commitment of many people. This also applies to St. Mary's Church with its enormous historical building fabric and its diverse tasks in the city.

Our more than 120 volunteers carry out their work in many places. On guided tours of the church and the vaults. At our Marientaler ticket office and in the kiosk. In the information service and pastoral care. Also in the open senior citizens' meeting place and in the senior citizens' academy. Our governing body, the parish council, also consists of people who work on a voluntary basis.
